Great article discussing how MS Word is increasingly deprecated as a writing tool. Obviously there are some users for whom a comprehensive suite like Word will still be useful, but I tend to agree with this author’s findings. Even when I was still in University, I began using simpler and simpler tools to accomplish what I was getting at. I rarely fire up Word anymore - not even at work.
