Why are you so terribly disappointing? →
This is great, and he’s right. We get outraged when things don’t go 100% our way 100% of the time.

Future Shock →
The iPad is a computer for everyone. You know, not just a computer that geeks have to teach laypersons to use. It just works — it’s instinctual.

iPad →
Everyone has probably seen it by now. Bad name, interesting device. I think this will be really appealing to a specific demographic - but won’t have the mass appeal of an iPod or iPhone.

Vimeo HTML5 Support →
Right on the heals of YouTube’s announcement, Vimeo has announced a beta HTML5 plugin. Like YouTube’s, it streams H.264 and therefore Firefox is not supported. Makes me wonder if the market will dictate the future and Firefox will have no choice but to support H.264 in the <video> element.

Netflix Agrees To Delay Warner Bros. New DVDs For... →
Terrible news. Yet another industry that keeps demonstrating they are dinosaurs. They call this a “win-win”, but it’s really the consumers that lose, isn’t it? The movie studios make piracy more-and-more attractive every day.

AppZapper 2.0 →
I thought AppZapper was abandonware, but a 2.0 release popped out of nowhere today. For me, this remains an indispensable piece of OS X software. The CoreAnimation stuff in the new version is very elegant.
