Great article about my favourite filmmaker. Also a great film, naturally. Above all, Kubrick enjoyed the editing process, because he said it was the only unique aspect of filmmaking. Cinematography, acting and directing are shared with other forms of art. But telling a story through the magic of editing is totally unique.

I disagree with this TechCrunch article that implies the creation of a government URL shortener is a waste of time and money. Quite the contrary! With some recent failures of some URL shorteners, it makes sense for government to rely on their own service when communicating with citizens. For example: What happens in 5 years if bit.ly goes under? What happens if they purge their archives?
